Pilot Terms
Version 22 October 2026
These terms apply when a business uses the Samlify app during the pilot. Together with the Data Processing Agreement they are the whole agreement between Samlify and the business.
1. The parties
1.1 The agreement is between William Jannert, a sole trader, Smedgatan 10, 243 34 Höör, Sweden (“Samlify”), and the business that accepts these terms (the “Customer”).
1.2 The app is offered only to businesses. The person who accepts these terms for the Customer confirms that they have the authority to do so.
1.3 If these terms and the Data Processing Agreement differ on personal data, the Data Processing Agreement applies.
2. The service
2.1 Samlify is an app for Mac with an extension for the Chrome browser. It notices tasks that a user repeats on the websites and in the apps the user chooses, suggests automations, builds one with the help of an AI model when the user asks for it, shows a preview, and runs it only after the user approves it.
2.2 The app takes no screenshots and does not record the screen. What is handled where is described in the Data Processing Agreement and the Privacy notice.
2.3 Samlify gives the Customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app in its own business while the agreement lasts.
3. An early version
3.1 The app is an early version. Features may change, be removed or be unavailable, and only some of the automations the app suggests can be built.
3.2 There is no promised availability, response time or compensation for downtime. Samlify fixes faults as soon as it reasonably can.
4. Nothing runs without approval
4.1 An automation is built only when the user asks for it and runs only after the user has approved its preview. An approval applies to the version that was shown; a changed automation needs a new approval.
4.2 An approval is the Customer’s decision. The Customer is responsible for reading the preview before approving it.
5. The Customer’s responsibilities
5.1 The Customer is responsible for:
- having the right to connect the accounts and services it connects, and to give Samlify access to them;
- informing the users of the app, and anyone whose work the app observes, and completing any consultation or negotiation that law or a collective agreement requires, before the app is used by employees;
- keeping install tokens and sign-ins secret, and telling Samlify without delay if they may have been exposed;
- keeping its own backups of data in the services an automation writes to.
5.2 The app may not be used in breach of law, to send unsolicited marketing, to get around the terms of the Customer’s own suppliers, or to process special categories of personal data without Samlify’s written agreement.
5.3 If the Customer breaches 5.2, Samlify may suspend the service. Samlify contacts the Customer first where it can.
6. AI and results
6.1 The app uses AI models, which can give wrong or incomplete answers. That is why the app shows a preview and asks for approval before anything runs.
6.2 Samlify does not promise any particular time saving or result.
6.3 What the Customer sends and what the app creates for the Customer is not used to train AI models, by Samlify or by its providers.
7. The Customer’s connected services
7.1 When the Customer connects one of its own services, such as Google Sheets, the Customer’s agreement with that provider applies. Samlify is not responsible for that service changing, closing or being unavailable.
7.2 The Customer can disconnect a service at any time. The automations that use it then stop. If the service is connected again, with the same or another account, the automations must be approved again.
8. Personal data
8.1 For personal data that Samlify processes for the Customer, the Customer is the controller and Samlify the processor, under the Data Processing Agreement.
8.2 For the details of the Customer’s contact people and of this acceptance, Samlify is the controller, as described in the Privacy notice.
9. Confidentiality
9.1 Each party keeps the other party’s confidential information secret and uses it only to perform the agreement. Confidential information is information marked as confidential, or that the recipient understands to be confidential, such as business matters, prices, plans, source code, instructions to AI models, methods and security information.
9.2 This does not apply to information that is or becomes public without the recipient breaching the agreement, that the recipient already had lawfully, or that the recipient must disclose by law or by order of an authority.
9.3 The obligation applies while the agreement lasts and for five years after it ends, and for trade secrets for as long as the information remains a trade secret.
10. Ownership and protection of the software
10.1 Samlify, or its licensors, owns all rights in the service, the app, the extension, the code, the instructions to the AI models, the methods and the documentation. The agreement gives the Customer only the right of use in 2.3.
10.2 Except to the extent mandatory law allows it, the Customer may not, and may not let anyone else:
- decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise try to derive the source code, models, instructions or methods of the service;
- copy, modify or make derivative works of the app or the extension;
- use the service, or what it learned about the service, to build a competing product or service;
- capture, store or pass on the communication between the app and Samlify’s service for any purpose other than troubleshooting its own installation.
10.3 The Customer owns its data and the automations built for it, except for Samlify’s code and methods within them. Samlify may use feedback about the service to improve it.
11. Price
11.1 The pilot is free of charge.
11.2 Samlify tells the Customer at least 30 days before any fee is introduced. The Customer may then end the agreement at no cost.
12. Liability
12.1 Samlify is responsible for providing the service in line with the agreement.
12.2 Samlify is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, loss of data held by another provider, or loss caused by an automation that the Customer approved.
12.3 During the free pilot, Samlify’s total liability under the agreement is limited to 10 000 Swedish kronor.
12.4 These limits do not apply to intent or gross negligence, or to liability that mandatory law does not allow to be limited.
12.5 A claim must be made in writing within three months of when the Customer noticed, or should have noticed, its grounds.
13. Term and ending
13.1 The agreement applies from when the Customer accepts these terms and until further notice.
13.2 During the pilot, either party may end the agreement with immediate effect by writing to the other.
13.3 When the agreement ends, Samlify closes the Customer’s install tokens. The Customer can delete everything in the app with Delete everything, and should uninstall the app and the extension. Samlify deletes what it holds as the Data Processing Agreement says.
13.4 Sections 9, 10, 12 and 16 continue to apply after the agreement ends.
14. Changes
14.1 Samlify may change these terms. Material changes are sent by email to the address that accepted them, at least 30 days before they apply. The Customer may end the agreement before then. If the Customer uses the service after that date, the new terms apply.
15. Transfer
15.1 Samlify may transfer the agreement to a company that Samlify’s owner controls. The Customer may not transfer the agreement without Samlify’s written consent.
16. Law and disputes
16.1 Swedish law applies. Disputes are decided by the Swedish general courts, with Lund District Court as the first instance.
