Who is responsible

Samlify is run by William Jannert, a sole trader, Smedgatan 10, 243 34 Höör, Sweden. Email hello@samlify.com. When a company is registered for Samlify, it takes over this role and its name will appear here.

For this website and the waitlist, Samlify is the controller. For what the Samlify app handles when a company uses it, that company is the controller and Samlify processes the data on its behalf under a data processing agreement.

The waitlist

When you join, we keep your email address, stored encrypted, and the time you joined, in the EU. We use the address only to contact you about access to Samlify and, if you answer the optional question below, for William's reply. We never sell it or share it for marketing.

Each signup also gets a random invite code for its private invite link. The code is not made from your address. If you joined through someone's invite link, we also keep which signup that link belonged to. We use this only for the invite reward described in the Terms. We do not tell the person who invited you that you joined, and we send no email about it.

If you answer the optional question about what you copy by hand, the text is stored encrypted with your signup so William can reply, and it is deleted with your signup.

We rely on your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)), which you give by joining. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us, and we remove the address. Otherwise we delete it at the latest 24 months after you joined.

To stop abuse, we count signup attempts and answers from each network address for a short time, without storing the address.

Counting visits

We count visits to the front page and signups to see how people find us. No cookie is set and no tracking script runs in your browser. For each visit we record the page, any campaign tags in the link, the site you came from, the app you opened it in if it was inside an app such as TikTok or Instagram, your country, which version of the front page you saw and a visitor code that changes every day, so a visit cannot be followed from one day to the next. Your network address and invite codes are not passed on.

If you came from a TikTok ad, the link carries TikTok's own click code. For those visits only, our server tells TikTok that a visit or a signup happened, with that code and the page address. Nothing else is sent to TikTok: not your email, not your network address, not your browser.

We are testing five versions of the front page. Each time you open it, the version is chosen at random, so you may see another one next time. Nothing is stored in your browser to remember it. When you join, we store with your signup which version you saw and, if you opened the page inside an app such as TikTok or Instagram, which app, so we can see which page and which channel work best.

We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is found (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). You have the right to object. Because the visitor code changes daily, we cannot later tell which counts were yours.

Our hosting provider keeps technical logs of requests for a few days so we can find faults.

Accepting the Pilot Terms

When a business accepts the Pilot Terms in the app, we keep the company name, the name and work email of the person who accepted, which version of the terms and the Data Processing Agreement they accepted, and when. This is the record of the agreement. We rely on the contract and on our legitimate interest in being able to show what was agreed (GDPR article 6(1)(b) and (f)), and keep the record while the agreement lasts and for ten years after it ends.

The Samlify app

The app is available only to companies in our pilot. It notices tasks you repeat on the websites and in the Mac apps you choose, suggests automations, builds one when you ask, and runs it only after you approve the preview. It takes no screenshots and does not record the screen. You can pause it at any time.

What stays on your Mac

What the app observes, your automations, chat messages, the values an approved automation reads and your Google sign in are stored encrypted on your Mac. An export you make yourself is readable. The app does not keep text you copy and paste, does not read password or card fields, and does not record keystrokes.

What leaves your Mac

The app sends data to Samlify's service, which uses an AI model provider, in three cases:

The connection is encrypted, but Samlify's service and the AI model provider can read what is sent to them. Samlify's service does not store it. The AI model provider is not allowed to train its models on it.

Google

If you connect Google Sheets, the app asks only for access to your spreadsheets. The sign in is kept on your Mac, not by Samlify. Data from Google is used only to run the automations you approved and is not given to anyone else.

Deleting

Delete everything in the app removes what the app keeps on your Mac and disconnects Google. Then uninstall the app and the browser extension.

Who else handles the data

Companies in the pilot get the providers by name in their data processing agreement.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and get it in a machine readable form. Write to hello@samlify.com. If it concerns data in the app that your company is responsible for, ask your company first; we help it answer.

You can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se.

Changes

If we change this page in a way that matters, we say so here and in the app before the change applies.
